Welcome to the website of Reggae Africa Festival, made possible by the Foundation Youth Movement. The next event will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Sportweg in Heerenveen – Holland(Abe Lenstra stadium in front). The program will start at 11.00 am and will last until 01:00 am midnight. During the presale tickets are for € 10 pick, and the festival itself for € 12.50 each. Children under 12 years are free.

The goal of Reggae Africa Festival to breng people of different cultures together. But also to promote Reggae and African music, culture in Friesland, the Netherlands and the world. In this way we want visitors to enjoy the richness and diversity of African culture.

Reggae Africa Festival focuses on families, adults and children, young and old. The program consists of various workshops such as African dance, iambic workshops, hair braiding and sports activities. A market is held where in addition to music, including works of art, clothing, jewelry and books are sold. All this while enjoying African snacks, drinks and dishes.

Born in Monronvia, Liberia on the West Coast of Africa. Joe Bronya is the founder and chairman of Foundation Youth Movement. Through this foundation he was able to organise the first edition of Reggae Africa Festival, which took place on September 25, 2010. His intention is to be organising this festival annually in Heerenveen, Holland (The Netherlands).
